Member of the Luxembourg Bar. Gérard joined the firm in October 2002 and heads the firm’s corporate practice. He specialises in the areas of corporate law, mergers & acquisitions and general business law. He advises mainly private equity and international financial groups on a wide array of domestic and international transactions and has a wealth of experience in advising corporations in relation to their general corporate affairs, joint venture transactions and corporate migrations. Prior to joining the firm, Gérard was corporate legal adviser in the financial engineering department of Ernst & Young Luxembourg and was responsible for restructurings on behalf of many international groups. Gérard is recommended in key legal directories including Chambers and Legal500. He has been admitted to the Luxembourg bar since 2004 and speaks English and French. A Belgian national, Gérard graduated with a “Licence en Droit”, from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. |
