Member of the Luxembourg Bar. A senior partner of OPF Partners Luxembourg, François specialises in the areas of investment funds, international taxation, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, corporate law, and general business law. He commenced his career with KPMG as tax adviser and Svenska Handelsbanken as legal counsel. After having acted as head of legal and tax for the RTL group, he joined Fidelity Investments as senior legal counsel for continental Europe. François has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1991 and is also a member of The Monterey Funds Club, an alliance of specialist investment fund lawyers across Europe. He is a member of several working groups within ALFI (Luxembourg Fund Association) and also a member of the Board of Directors of the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA). François is a regular speaker at conferences globally. François graduated from the University of Strasbourg (France) in law and also in economy and finance. A Luxembourg national, he speaks many languages including; English, French, German and Luxembourgish. |
